First Visit

Your First Visit

When you arrive for your first visit, please be prepared to complete all insurance and health information forms that will allow us to begin your dental treatment. We will ask you to fill out several forms that will get you acquainted with our office. You can also download and print the Patient Information Form from this website, fill it out beforehand, and bring it to your first appointment.

Your initial hygiene appointment will take approximately two hours. In most cases, we will clean your teeth on this visit, take any necessary digital X-rays, complete periodontal charting, record existing restorations, and screen for oral cancer. We will also take intraoral photographs for cosmetic evaluations. You will have a comprehensive oral exam by one of our doctors to diagnose any existing dental concerns. We will set up an additional consultation appointment if necessary to outline a proposed treatment plan.
